General Overview

AW Power (by Gentlemen Coders) is a pro level image editor that builds on the features of the Apple native Photos software. It gives exact access to Apple RAW processing engine features- including Boost, Black Point, Noise Reduction, RAW Sharpen, Curves (Linear, Gamma, Lab modes), and clipping indicators- all in real time with GPU acceleration. Raw Power is sold as an app in its own right, a Photos extension, and even as a plug-in to Lightroom, promising both nondestructive editing and a smooth, “no Photos-related issues” movement through the Mac photo library and across iCloud devices.
Besides the basic editing, RAW Power also has solid photo management features (ratings, flags, filters, batch actions, and lens filters) and opens a variety of formats (JPEG, TIFF). On iOS it brings some high end features such as the new Depth Effect, where the foreground and background tones may be adjusted independently in portraits. It also does non-destructive round-trip editing back to your Photos library whether you work on Mac or iOS.
